Jets sign WR Hill, same guy who called them "Over-Hyped"

by Patrick Dunne
The New York Jets have signed ex-Niner, Jag, and Bronco, wide receiver Jason Hill. Who the heck is Jason Hill? He was a 3rd round draft pick to the 49ers in 2007 out of Washington State University. More recently, Hill had 25 receptions for 367 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Jacksonville Jaguars before he was cut last November. You may remember him from calling the Jets "overhyped" before the Jag's week 2 match-up with the Jets last season. He also spoke of Jets star cornerback Darrell Revis, saying "Him personally, he's a good player. Pro Bowl player, I'm trying to make the Pro Bowl, too. This'll be a good game to put some notches on our belts too." Whatever the heck that means.. Revis ended up saying that he didn't "even know who that dude is." Hill didn't even play in the Jet's 2011 (32-2) rout of the Jags. I remember him saying that, and thinking "And he didn't even play in the game! What a jerk!"

WHELP, NOW HE'S A JET!

He was most recently cut by the Bronco's in August of 2012. Let's hope he keeps his mouth shut and actually produces some touchdowns. I still think we need Plaxico Burress or Terrell Owens, but that's just me.
