Darrell Revis: Torn ACL, out for the season

by Patrick Dunne
Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis left Sunday's game with a knee injury that left Jet's fans holding their breath.

Their worst fears were a reality when an MRI on Monday morning showed that Revis will require season-ending surgery on a torn ACL. The injury occured on a play when Revis was chasing down a defender and make an awkward cut without coming in contact with another player. Revis was down on the field for a few minutes before he limped off the field on his own strength.

This will surely be a huge loss for the Jets defense, who looked very shaky after Revis left the game. They take on some high power offenses in the next two weeks, so look for Antonio Cromartie to step it up and take the leadership role.
